That’s one big, whopping battery to you and me and we actually think its the biggest battery you can get in a rugged device so small and slim as the Raptor R5 with big battery.

At Raptor we’re constantly trying to listen and address problems that businesses have with their mobile devices and having a rugged smartphone that’ll last all day is key.  The Raptor R5 is already superbly economic with its standard battery of 3600mAh, however there’s nothing like adding in a few more physical “milli amp hours” to just make sure you can get an all day shift form the device.

To pack in the extra 2400mAh’s more that the standard battery has means this battery has to be larger so it puts a small bump onto the back of the device, but nothing that will hamper any ergonomics or usage at all as it just fits really well.

The best news is that the 6000 mAh battery and back case have been specifically designed to fit the standard device, so if you already have an R5 you can just buy the new battery and back case and you’re good to go.  Check the main website or call us for pricing but expect pricing to be very keen, inline with the rest of the devices accessory pricing and around the £20-25 mark for both parts.
